Become a Nationally Certified Nordixx Pole Walking Instructor
Become a Nordic Pole Walking Leader in your area. Nordic Walking Nova Scotia and True North Nordic Walking, in cooperation with Nordixx Pole Walking Canada Inc. regularly conduct Nordic Pole Walking Instructor Certification courses in the Atlantic Provinces both in person and online.
The Nordixx Pole Walking Instructor's 8.5-Hour. Course includes: Pre-clinic online education, Power Point Presentation, practical instruction, handouts, plus a set of Nordixx Walker Poles and the NPW Instructors Test. Successful participants will receive 4.0 CEC credits from CanFitPro Canada and the NPW Diploma upon completion.
Each course is limited to 10 candidates to ensure that we can provide individual education.

Important Prerequisite
This Certification Course is for experienced Nordic Pole Walkers. Candidates must have a minimum of one year’s experience in walking with Nordic Walking Poles and be proficient in the advanced Nordic Pole Walking Technique. (Applicants may be asked to provide a short video to demonstrate their technique.)

Online: $195 + HST Includes a pair of Nordixx Walker Poles*
In Person: $295.00 + HST Includes a pair of Nordixx Walker Poles*
*Can be upgraded to Nordixx Traveler Poles or Nordixx Stabilizer for an additional fee,

Course Objectives
The main objectives of our certification course are:
- Learn about the scientific and clinical studies on the health benefits of Nordic Pole Walking
- Learn how to methodically teach the proper, effective Nordic Pole Walking technique developed in Europe
- Discuss marketing and marketing support of Nordic Walking Nova Scotia/True North Nordic Walking (Divisions of MRC Associates Inc.) and Nordixx Pole Walking Canada
